Ferris® Introduces IS® 3200Z Large Frame Zero Turn Mower

16th January 2017 — Ferris® introduces the IS®3200Z commercial zero-turn mower that uses the latest mowing technology to provide commercial cutters with superior performance, quality and comfort.

Starting with the Ferris patented suspension system with adjustable coil-over-shocks at the rear wheels and independent suspension with adjustable coil-over-shocks at the front wheels of the machine, offering superior operator comfort and increased mowing productivity. The patented suspension system responds to the most unforgiving terrain with refined control and incomparable steering accuracy. It allows the operator maintain ground speed on rough underground, not slow down, taking full advantage of the available horsepower resulting in more covered square meters per hour and lower operational costs. On top of that, a Ferris ZTR has no limitations on the daily allowable exposure in regards to hand/arm and whole-body vibrations. (HAV’s and WBV’s)

The IS®3200Z is powered by a Vanguard™ 37-gross HP, 993cc EFI V-Twin petrol engine, featuring Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) and Oil Guard™-system. The EFI system provides a wide range of benefits which include reduced fuel consumption, increased power, alcohol stale fuel resistance, and engine performance that increases governing control and load acceptance. Vanguard EFI systems also deliver optimized starting, choke less starting including cold & hot restart. The Oil Guard™-system is a first-of-its-kind solution for the commercial turf market that allows operating a commercial mower for 500 hours between engine oil changes. This revolutionary design protects the engine oil from thermal breakdown because the Oil Guard™-system continuously exchanges oil between the engine and a larger remote oil reservoir, resulting in a cooler running engine and extended maintenance intervals.

The IS®3200Z is a commercial workhorse offering superior durability and is built with industry-leading commercial-grade components. Dual commercial Hydro-Gear® ZT-5400 Powertrain® transaxles deliver unmatched power and durability. The 183cm rear discharge mower deck with iCD™ technology features a factory fitted mulching insert and Hercules™ II cast-iron spindle housings; accommodating double-row industrial angular-contact bearings. Other features include a foot operated mower deck, a premium high-back adjustable seat with padded arm rests, large 42 litre fuel tank capacity and a foldable ROPS system.

The IS®3200Z includes the Ferris 2+2 Year Limited Warranty which covers the unit for four years (48 months) or 500 hours, whichever occurs first. During the first two years (24 months), the mower is covered for unlimited hours. (Belts, tires, brake pads, battery and blades are covered for 90 days.) In addition, coil-over-shocks and all suspension-related components are covered for four years (48 months), unlimited hours.
