Ferris® Unveils New Commercial Engine Options for Its IS® 3200Z
MILWAUKEE (October 21, 2015) – The popular Ferris IS® 3200Z will feature three new top-of-the-line powerful commercial engine options for model year 2016.
Commercial cutters can select a Briggs & Stratton® (NYSE: BGG) 32-gross horsepower1, 896cc Vanguard™ BIG BLOCK™; a Briggs & Stratton 37-gross horsepower1, 993cc Vanguard™ BIG BLOCK™ with EFI; or Kawasaki® 35-gross horsepower2, 999cc FX1000V engine.
“The IS 3200Z is known as a commercial workhorse,” says Bill Shea, vice president of commercial sales. “These three engine options will only enhance its performance and reliability in the field.”
By combining these high performance engines with other industry-leading commercial-grade components, the IS 3200Z offers superior durability and unmatched performance. Its patented suspension system, consisting of rear coil-over-shocks with front independent adjustable coil-over-shocks, enables the operator to mow faster on uneven terrain with a consistent quality of cut. The result is increased productivity.
Commercial cutters can also count on dual commercial Hydro-Gear® ZT-5400 Powertrain® transaxles with 9” cooling; a 61” or 72” fabricated steel iCD™ Cutting System with professional lawn striper; Hercules™ II cast-iron greaseable mower spindles; a foot operated mower deck lift with adjustable cutting height positions; a new premium high-back adjustable seat; and large 26” drive tires.
The IS 3200Z includes the Ferris 2+2 Year Limited Warranty3 which covers the unit for four years (48 months) or 500 hours, whichever occurs first. During the first two years (24 months), the mower is covered for unlimited hours. (Belts, tires, brake pads, battery and blades are covered for 90 days.) In addition, coil-over-shocks and all suspension-related components are covered for four years (48 months), unlimited hours3.
