Mowing banks and other inclined areas can potentially cause dangerous situations for both the operator and bystanders. Using dedicated remote controlled machinery drastically reduces risk, physical effort and exposure to vibration, noise and emissions. The FRC7’s tracked low gravity undercarriage ensures stability on steep inclines up to 55° and provides superior traction.
Both the tracks and mower deck are electrically driven by a hybrid e-drive system that combines a combustion engine with a battery drive system, resulting in a highly effective powertrain. The FRC7 can mow forwards and backwards, making turning on a slope unnecessary. This will prevent potential damage to the underlying soil.
The Vanguard® EFI engine is fuel-efficient and operates independently from the electrical system. Its load sensing ability keeps the mower deck performing optimally and automatically adjusts the mowing speed when conditions get tougher.

Vanguard EFI Engine with Electronic Throttle Control
The FRC7's Vanguard engine has a fuel injection system that delivers just the right amount of fuel in every circumstance, for better performance and fuel economy. Its electric governor optimizes engine power and allows for more efficient power delivery. The engine features an advanced breather system for application on slopes.
Removable Fuel Tank
The FRC7 features a removable 23 liter fuel tank with a marine-style quick-disconnect coupling. This greatly simplifies the removal of the tank when you have a spare second tank on standby. The FRC7 can drive up to 200 m on battery power only, without having to start the engine. Ideal when you run out of fuel while mowing.
True Hybrid Drive System
The 48V hybrid system feeds power from a generator (permanently coupled to the EFI engine) to a battery buffer pack, from which the traction drive motors and mower deck drive motor are directly fed. This ensures that maximum power is immediately available when needed and that the system responds quickly to your commands via the remote controller. Varying mower deck loads have less influence on the engine, making it run smoother, which has a positive effect on fuel consumption.
Tracked Drive System
The traction drive system features rubber tracks that assure traction on a slope. The unique track system is specially developed for this machine and features a reduced footprint with approaching and departure angles for maximizing traction with minimal turf damage.
Easy Track Tension System
In case a track requires tensioning, the FRC7 is equipped with a straightforward tensioning system by means of a top bar. To simplify tensioning, a special tensioning wrench is located under the hood so that you can effortlessly re-tension the track whenever you need to.
Bi-Directional Mowing Deck
The FRC7 mower deck cuts in both forward and reverse direction. This makes having to turn the machine at the end of the slope redundant, therefore preventing potential damage to the turf. The cutting deck features two blade spindles, each equipped with 4 pendulum cutting blades, for a smooth, even cut. A load sensing system ensures optimal mowing performance and automatically adjusts travel speed as conditions change.
Remote Control
The remote control allows the mower to be operated from up to 300 m distance. Remote control functions include: steering control, engine start/stop, PTO, cutting height adjustment, undercarriage trim, drive speed limiter, horn, safety beacon light, LED headlights, operator safety tilt sensor, emergency stop and reset.
Jack Stand Included
The FRC7 comes standard with a service jack that allows the machine to be lifted effortlessly in case a track comes off. Along with the onboard tension wrench, it makes reinstalling a track quick and effortless.
