Ferris is the Leader in Suspension Technology for Turf
Ferris introduced independent suspension technology on zero turn riding mowers in the late 1990's. Over the last 20 years, Ferris has been revolutionizing outdoor power equipment by creating mowing technology that works together to provide increased comfort, enhanced productivity and increased efficiency.
The culmination of the last 20 years of technology is the Forefront suspension system. This advanced system uses suspension technology commonly found on an all-terrain vehicle or race car. Standard on the ISX800, and all-new ISX2200 and ISX3300, the Forefront suspension system utilizes four solid control rods with hardened radial ends and mower-specific shocks. This powersport-inspired front suspension geometry eliminates caster chatter, ensuring the front casters remain in the ideal orientation throughout the entire range of suspension travel to improve the ride and quality of the cut.
